Annaleigh is a naturally gifted artist who has the art gene. I see in her self-portrait a happy, content look and one who feels secure in her artistic skills. She has the ability to create interesting compositions using the elements of art and a unique ability for color balance. Once again, I really enjoy seeing the art projects her art teacher introduces to her class. The combination of using famous artworks as inspiration plus the variety of techniques introduced and used allow Annaleigh freedom to express herself and shine as an artist.

I love how Annaleigh's teacher incorporate art history with a famous artist connected to each project so far. That really helps the student gain an appreciation for what has come before and spur on inspiration today. Great works which I have added to my collection on both, a t-shirt and coffee mug.

Another great work that looks to a have the effect of a low relief from cut and torn paper. Once again, Annaleigh's use of composition is perfect and display's a natural feel for it.

Wonderful abstraction with a really nice use of color and technique and very well balanced I must say. A "Natural". Love it!
