I love the color combination the orange brings out the pot very well. The carved flower is what I saw when I first looked at your pot it. Overall your pot has a lot of de mention. I like how created you were with your design and it just has so much abstract.

The layered, organic elements create a good sense of movement while establishing depth and spatial complexity that works well in achieving a resemblance to a flower. The variations in color and value around the edges of some elements create emphasis on the middle of the sculpture.

The title of your pinch pot is quite fitting for the result of the glaze as the deep black glaze is reminiscent of a void. However, the subtle speckles of lighter colors in the glaze add hints of sparkle and light within this ‘void.’

The pot has a compressed form, a thick rim, and a glossy glaze that shows subtle throwing rings and its tool marks. The interior glaze pooling reflects its firing viscosity.
