There is really good contrast between the darks and lights. It gives the figure a 3D look. The lightness of the hair contrasts well with the dark skin. The texture of the hair also adds depth.

The controlled lines that break the plane create many fractures creating a broken, almost shattered texture. The contrasting values being next to each other push the effect of the fractures, highlighting them. This is seen in the hair, with the part in the middle being darker and the hairs becoming lighter and the get further and further from part. This artwork shows how a pattern of value tones can create a shattered effect on a piece of art.

The contrast is good, and the value tones go from very dark to white. The fractures are sharp and split the art nicely. The piece shows emotion by looking shocked.

The gradual change in density is smooth and not abrupt. You avoided harsh jumps between light and dark. That makes the gradient look natural.

The extensive amounts of fractures seen here pushes the effect of the subject crashing into something like glass leading to his face being shattered. The alternating value scales of dark and light being next to each other pushes the effect highlighting the fractures. The sketching is extremely neat, and the use of a durergrid is apparent.

The use of multiple different patterns adds texture to each of the different features of the landscape. This can be seen with the mountain having straight vertical lines to show the smoothness of the rock it is composed of. The use of value tones makes the tress and other features stick out as seen with the tree on the far left of the picture.

I enjoy how geometric shapes are used and how the dots almost look blended. This artwork looks so smooth. I like the strong design and how the glasses stands out.

The weaving pattern of the stippled squares creates a cool visual rhythm. It provides an almost moving or wave visual to the eye as if each square is actually coming out of the canvas. At the same time, each piece has a unity however like some kind of quilt of blanket.

The gradation between the dots are layered so that the value tones are prevalent. However, the light parts of the gradation are not light enough and the light value tones is not reflected in all of the fractures. Moreover, the contrast needs to be increase between the background and the head as they elements blend into each other.

The sketch is planned out for the points and is very evenly sketched. The fragments move with each curve. The sketch is very light so it doesn’t look too dark.

This artwork uses repeating shapes and lines to create a strong pattern that feels organized but still lively. The bold color choices and layered strokes add energy and texture, making the piece visually interesting to look at for a long time.

This piece shows a clear understanding of value, with smooth transitions from dark to light that make each step easy to read and compare. Artistically, the careful control of pressure and shading shows strong focus and patience, which builds a solid foundation for more complex drawings later on.

The close crop fractures the face at the edges of the frame and glasses, creating tension between symmetry and interruption, while the limited mid-value range flattens the planes so the features read more as shapes than depth. Artistically, the emphasis on soft, even lighting and compressed values shifts the image from portraiture toward an observational study of texture, gesture, and immediacy rather than idealized form.

The shading within the pattern gives the artwork a shiny look. The colors are bright against the dark background.

The perspective of this piece is unique. The colors used looks delicious.

You added walls and that makes the architecture of the shapes look more popping. It gives the shapes a fitting landscape.

The lines are very smooth and thick. The angle of the image makes it more interesting and adds story telling.

The slightly curved lines on the cone make it look curved. This makes the cone pop out more than if it just had the shaded value tones

The perspective of the you artwork enhances the color and provides a different angle to the work. The contrast in the color, especially the white against black outlines the weaving.

The orange, white, and black color usage reminds me of a birch tree and it really looks unique.

The colors are very vibrant and the angle is a very good perspective

The colors are bold and show depth and contrast although more shadows could’ve been incorporated to show a more intricate weaving pattern.

The over-under effect can be seen clearer if you add shadowing and also add more contrast, otherwise great job!

The contrast of color helps define the pattern.

The colors are blended well and vibrantly enthusiastically discombobulated
