sunny We had never heard of Jim Dine before so we looked him and his art up. He's a fellow after YOUR heart because he loves hearts as much as YOU do. Your heart print looks like you have love radiating from the central heart. We really like the design you have framing the heart. Your choice of colors for your prints are very interesting, we see some rainbow hints in them. We wonder if he's ever made hearts people with long eyelashes like you do? Sunny We LOVE your penguine and their plaid sweater! We love the colorful background as well. we cannot wait to learn about where Poloar Bears and Penguins live. You might want t have mom and dad check out Mr Poppers Penguins at the library the next time you go. It is a really old book. I read it to my students and they thought it was really funny. OMG this is gorgeous. I know those are snowflakes, but this also makes me think of Monet's Water Lilly's! I love the color pallet, the use of the colors and the placement of the snowflake impressions.

Sunny always has a great eye for colors, patterns and putting them all together. I looked up the artist Yayoi Kusama's and her abstract pumpkins. Kusama's ALL about polka dots...maybe a riff on pointillism? Anywho...Sunny has her own take on polka dots, lines, zig-zags and more mixed with a rich color pallet! I LOVE it!

Sunny Your wet on wet investigation with water color is really interesting. Adding additional lines using thick and thin markers is a technique I'd love to experiment with the enxt time we are together. Can't wait to see your next work!
