I love this! The color is SO pretty. It reminds me of the really clear sky we sometimes see at the beach. I can't wait until it's warm enough to see that sky in person! We have to think of a great place to display this sculpture at home. Maybe near your desk, where you do so much drawing? Can't wait to get it home! xoxo

I love the different types of cacti/succulents you represented here. It seems like a simple painting when you first see it, but the more you look at it, the more you see really interesting details. The pattern on the pot and the way you shaded the triangles is so cool, and the shadow in front adds wonderful depth to the picture. The pink blossoms really pop against the pretty blue background. Lucy, I LOVE the way you extended the branches off the starry night-inspired background. When I first saw the picture, I really thought it was a 3 dimensional piece. The layering and the detailing is so cool. I love the colors you chose in the background and how they contrast with the apples. I can't wait to add this to our gallery at home! Xo, Mama
