I love the colors in this artwork and your choice of border. I think the polka dotted ears of the elephants is an especially creative touch. Pink was a nice choice for the floating clouds. It's always fun to view your artwork, Lyd

Lydia, this drawing made me so happy! I love the pink clouds and pink bunny. And the leaping elephant is the best part of all.

Lady Lemon is very classy. Looks a little like your mom or maybe you. I like the touch of red with the heart and the head ornament. Also, the eyes are very expressive.

Incredible details, Lydia! This looks like something you’d see in a real art museum. Keep up the great work!

This may be my favorite piece yet. Now that you’ve told me it is meant to be a bride, I can see it! I like the jewel belt and jewel headband. I also like the veil dotted in purple pearls. She has rosy cheeks and fun, dangly earrings.

Because of this art project I watched a video on the life of Jean-Michel Basquiat. He showed artistic talent at a young age just like you! I looked at his paintings and compared them with yours. Yours is happier. I suppose that's because it's a self portrait and you are a happy person. I'm not so sure that Basquiat was. Grandma L.

Wow! This is an interesting piece. It kinda looks like a character in one of our favorite books, “Miss Nelson is Missing.”

I really like how you choose where to put each color. It's balanced and interesting. For example, the greens, pinks, purples, and navy blues are spread out in different areas. Then, in the upper left-hand corner, you have an area of aqua blue. I like that you did that. Linda G.

This is mesmerizing and peaceful. It looks like the gobs in a lava lamp.

Oh wow, Lydia! This is just gorgeous. It reminds me of a stained glass window in a church.
