You are right about the trunk being important! The character of these trees is in the trunk. They get more and more interesting as they get older ( like your grandparents!)

This is what is just starting to happen here in the Pacific NW! The trees are just starting to bloom. It is kind of early. Papa calls this Faux Spring! Fake Spring! Cause we get fooled by some early warm weather and the Winter comes roaring back! But soon the street will be covered with pink snow!

I am so proud of you as this art really has transformed to a place where you are proud of it, which was the goal of this unit. I like your colour choices and the balance of the blue and purple. The fish is a great focal point and leads our eyes to the flower. It looks like it's swimming around it. Great work!
