I have always been drawn to pottery. I like how you gave your pottery dimension by adding leaves and vine.

Such a lovely piece Payton. The choice of colors, textures and name display your creativity. Another piece of art created that is very pleasing to the eye…. Well done!

You have created a very pleasing composition with these shapes! Your use of complementary colors, the pale yellow and subtle lavender work very well against the dark background. There’s lots of movement in this piece but also places for the eye to rest. And wow, the textures you created, just beautiful!

This is such a lovely pastel. Your muted tones are very soothing. You’ve done a great job creating shape with a nice transition from light to dark values. Also, your composition really works with your subject partly off the paper! I hope you enjoyed learning about Georgia Okeefe, she was a groundbreaking female artist, and one of my favorites

I love what you named this piece! The dark background and neutral colors effectively communicate sadness while the yellow flower communicates light and hope. It becomes the focal point of your painting and reminds us that hope and light can triumph once again over sadness and darkness.

I love the yellow and how it stands out in comparison to the rest of the photo. I’m clearly not an artist but I don’t see sadness when I look at this picture.

Lovely drawing Payton. The way you drew the pumpkin makes me feel like I could reach out and feel the texture of it. It’s such a soothing drawing to look at. Nice job!

Two of the ways I evaluate great art are, does it look realistic and does it make me feel something? Your pumpkin art satisfies both criteria. It looks like what it’s supposed to be and makes me feel peaceful when I look at it.

Love it! It reminds me of the weaving Great Grammy had on her wall growing up. I love the color choice!
