Ethan: this art reminds me of Modern Art. Famous Dutch modern artists like Piet Modrian made art with only a few colored squares. But then Paul Klee came along and added sketches. This is what you do here. Did you know you have rediscovered a technique of Modern Art? Nani has a good friend who lives in a New York apartment filled with Modern Art. One painting is made of actual bicycle wheels glued onto a canvas. Another is made of old paint tubes glued to a canvas! Nani could say more.

Ethan I can see that you have been rubbing leaves and creating leaf prints. I wonder what kind of leaves these were. Some local trees include Oak, Elm, Sycamore, Magnolia. I love how the left hand leaf is colored with fall colors. It makes me feel like November!
