Maya!!! You didn’t tell me you did Yayoi Kusama pumpkins!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE! So many things about this that I like. I like how you did the background and that vibrant Kelly Green color…did you use bubble wrap to do that? I like how did the pumpkins on a separate piece of paper which you then cute out and glued on…did you use q-tips to make their dots? And I love the pink that you used underneath them bc pink is a tint if red and red and green are complimentary colors. I like how the scale or the size of the dots in the background is different than the scale of the dots on the pumpkins. The contrast excites my eyes! Keep making great work my girl

Maya I am SO happy to receive these photos of your work from Artsonia! I love your work?? It was hard to choose the one I loved the most, but I think it is this owl!!! I love all the shapes and colors. It reminds me of a painting that is hanging in our museum. I will send you a picture of the work. I think the artist is Dubuffet!
