This reminds me of when we were driving across France to go skiing.. before we could see the snow and were spotting birds and trees. Oh! I see the snow peeking through just ahead!

This little dish looks just like half an apple. I can even see the pips inside and the apple stem and leaf on top. This will be really useful to have on your desk to put paper clips, erasers and drawing pins in - or maybe that’s why you made it!

This looks interesting. It looks as though you have been doing some weaving - it would make a good wall hanging and even reminds me a little of The Stars and Stripes!

I had to read up about Louise Nevelson and her style of artwork. It’s definitely different and I bet you had fun assembling your piece of art. It’s so good it looks as though it could be a working machine with all the pipes and circles of tin and cardboard……maybe it will burst into life!

I was amazed when I saw your picture of a chicken (cockerel?j in Picasso’s cubist style. Picasso himself would have been proud to produce it and you are learning so much about various artists while you paint……well done, it’s a really great picture!

What a colourful picture with some very happy looking goldfish. I looked up the Matisse painting of ‘Goldfish in a Bowl’ and you have done a brilliant job - it’s not easy painting a glass bowl and you have done really well!

It looks as though it is someone’s birthday. And this looks like a very tasty layer cake with what I think are strawberries on the top? I wonder who ate the first piece - I bet it was delicious!

I think this is a picture full of atmosphere - I feel icy cold just looking at it! The bare twigs and the blue background make for a really wintery art work……is the ice going to melt soon?

With all the snow we have had in England this week this steaming mug of hot cocoa would be very welcome. It is so realistic…..I can smell the chocolate!

What a colourful piece of artwork Raymond. It reminds me of my garden where I have spent many hours raking up the fallen leaves this autumn. It looks as though you had fun cutting out all the different shapes of leaves and sticking them on very carefully….well done!

What a brilliant idea - papier-mâché pencils and crayons. They also look so cheerful, especially the crayon with the ‘googly’ eyes. I would love to have them in my pencil case!

What a super tall tree. It reminds me of one in the woods near me. The trunk of the tree is so realistic and I think I can see a little mouse peeping out of a door. Well done Raymond - your art work is great! Gran
