As a parent of Qiaoyi, I understand some of the shapes, but the others really give me a different perspective to know her feelings. Art can really tell me things that she cannot easily express with a language. It is amazing that this art create a tighter connection between me and Qiaoyi.

A very straightforward drawing. I love how she dresses up the grey cat with bright yellow ornaments. And the ornaments are just in the right amount and sizes, so that I don't get distracted.

It looks like a combination of different paper cuts. I love how she tells a little story by placing the rabbit on the left half of the paper and leaving a negative space on the right. The rabbit is pretty happy seeing something from the right. There are light and dark brown, yellow, and blue. That creates some depth and makes me believe there is sunlight in the picture, although the sun is not included.

I was immediately inspired when I saw this art. It gives me a strong feeling that Qiaoyi is a loving and cheerful girl who has a sunny personality. It looks like a window at the first glance, and then I notice the light rays coming out from the center of the flower. I really love how she designs the line patterns and how she fills the blanks will a well-balaced color scheme. It is truely a beautiful blend of vitality and order, which tells me something about the artist herself.
