Oh Annie!!!! Van Gogh’s Irises! I recognized them immediately and I have a print of them at Lake Cushman. The iris is Kappas flower and very special to me. Your painting is stunning! I love how each flower is unique.

Wonderful use of colors Annie!! Using 2/3 cool tones and 1/3 warm tones makes for a wonderful contrast of the flowers against the backdrop. I love the vase detail as well - reminiscent of Dutch or chinoiserie vases. Great work! Can’t wait to see what you do next.

Annie! This is fantastic! At first glance, it reminded me of the work of Vincent Van Gogh. I love the bright, vivid colors you selected. It could be an orange tree?
