This piece shows that my brilliant niece is an artist who works in many mediums. I think I’ve seen painting, drawing, and now ceramics! I love that you’re already experimenting the way Picasso and Matisse did when they left the canvas to work with clay. Check out Picasso’s ceramic fish plates! Can you tell I really like Picasso? ;) Maybe we can learn about him together.

This one has a very different feel from the others, it’s softer, sweeter, and whimsical. Who doesn’t love puppies and pizza!

I love the beautiful colors in this painting, and how you’ve done the reflection so well in the water. It reminds me of Georgia O’ Keeffe, though she was known mostly for her flower paintings, she did a painting called New York Night which I thought of when I saw your painting. You have such a diverse style!
