Whhoooo whhoooo! I used to draw owls when I was kid. No idea why lol as I’d never seen or heard one in real life ha ha About 4 years ago I heard (and saw!) a barred owl. Did you know they don’t say whooo. They make a really odd call that sounds like “Who cooks? Who cooks for you???”

Oh Lily, what a fine work you did on this bird! I love birds so much and have always enjoyed watching them. The bird you drew reminds me of colorful little birds in Papua New Guinea (where your mom grew up). Hugs, Nana
