The colors and the textures on this piece are incredible! I love the depth created with the gold and dark green on top of the light green background. And the brownish/white/silver components really pop to remind me that the winter darker colors turn into the bright greens of spring with fresh flowers blooming. The hand drawn lines on the different components also help to add layers of creativity on this piece. Really creatively put together Jules!

What a creative birthday cake to celebrate America's birthday! I love the use of mixed media and the sparkles and glitter. I also really love how you drew the fireworks! It's so creative! My most favorite part of this work of art is that you wish for America to have peace for her birthday. Sometimes the wisest of words comes from the youngest around us :)

This is such a cool piece of artwork! I agree, I love the layers and depth you've created. And while each "window" is similar, you also found a way to make them unique in their own way. The smaller dots add additional depth and the scissor creativity with the pieces is well done!

My favorite part about this piece of artwork is how much you had fun learning how to do this! It's very unique and I love the warm color scheme. The blue yarn mixed with the white yarn really pops on top of the pink, purple and blue on the plate!

Jules, I love this snapshot into your heart! The fact you said you started with yellow because it is bright just shows what a bright spirit you are. I also didn't know that you liked cannolis so much! I absolutely love this purple burlap! The woven strands of orange, pink and blue really make the purple shine! I can easily see you adding some fancy charms to this too I addition to the beads on the handle! Really well done Jules!
