Owen, this is so cool! The way you drew your name reminds me of the Philly LOVE statue, and I love how sculptural and 3-dimensional it is. And great juxtaposition with the Phillies logo. RING THE BELL!!!! Great work Owen! Love, Mom

This is a very interesting piece! All the shapes draw the eye into the center where it is treated to a beautiful metallic star-like shape. It has a lot of energy.

There's a dichotomy between the fiery and aggressive background and the look of calm on the subject's face that I find very intriguing. It makes me look closer and wonder what he is thinking. I think the artist has captured the emotion in the face so well. There's a very subtle difference in the background between the photograph side and the hand-drawn side that tie into the medium - the order seen on the right side brakes down and becomes more expressive on the left. Very cool!
