Always thinking about ways to save people—or, in this case, turkeys—is definitely something that I appreciate. I love that you genuinely have and show concern and care for the well-being of all living things.

I know that it’s sad but there’s just something about this image that tells me the monkey is going to make it and it just seems positive to me. I guess because I know you so well and I know how you can take any difficult situation and find the positive in it. And I guess that part of your personality is something that I see in this hopefully that makes more sense. I love how thought-provoking your art is.

This picture is a reminder to all of us to just hang on and I think it’s really cool how you use the colors to make a potentially sad or frustrating image seem uplifting and definitely positive. Great job. I’m so proud of you Adeline.

I think I’ve already said this, but I’ll say it again. Your art is wise beyond your years and you do this amazing thing where you’re able to capture how eyes are the windows to the soul and it’s the fact that you know and understand that without ever being told that or taught that it is really inspirational about you. To see that you have an instinct and an understanding for humanity . keep it up. I love it.

Sometimes you just make a beautiful image but it screams what you are feeling on the inside without you even realizing it or perhaps you do. I’m so proud of you. Keep up the good work. I could stare at your art for hours. And find a different little detail that I did not see the time before. I love that.

The way the leaves are spaced on the page makes it look like they got caught in a gust of wind on a blustery day. I love the different styles you used to draw the leaves and how the cool colored background makes the leaves really pop!

I didn't see this sad, little, bee stung monkey last year. I'm kind of wondering what the actual assignment was but your painting definitely tells a moving story of pain, sadness and I assume hunger... maybe? AND I love the monkey's tiny, cute toes!
