Did you make this snowy scene because it snowed so much last winter? Do you think it will snow a lot again this year, too? Wow Hadley I really love your pumpkin especially the yellow polka dots. Yellow really brings out the other colors in your painting. That was a great choice.

Wow Hadley! I really enjoy the beautiful Spring colors you used on your Easter Basket. The way you weaved the colorful paper through the brown paper it looks just like a real life basket! Did you know your Nana knows how to make a real Easter basket all by herself?! We should ask her to teach us how she does it. Maybe we could make a basket to look just like this one you created in Art class. Wouldn't that be neat?! I cant wait to see more of your first grade art creations! Hadley, I am very impressed with all of your artwork, but this is one of my favorites! I love all the beautiful rainbow colors you used. I am very proud of how well you remember and used the types of lines your art teacher taught you about! You always seem to learn a lot from her and are always so excited to tell me about the things you have learned.
