Hi Arden, What a thoughtful piece this is. The likes/strokes used really fit well with the style and over feeling of this old fashioned, Christmas theme. This resembles the Christmas card that your Mom gave me this year a but the details in your depoction are really unique. In particular the lines used in the Christmas tree and to show the motion occurring with the car moving and presents falling are really a nice touch. What a fantastic and high energy piece Arden! I love the added roller skate shoe lace which coupled with the circular bright, background pattern really ‘jumps off the page’ so to speak and enthusiastically invites the viewer in to skate. Very proud of you! Love Mimi

I love the yellow sun the pink clouds, the blue sky, but most of sll that green iguana sitting on the branch of a tree, looking at all that beautiful scenery. Nice work!

Dear Arden, There is something magnificent about this drawing. There seems to be some complexity in the details of the background design and captured in the boy’s face. I wonder, where is the boy and what is he feeling or thinking? I think this drawing is very well done.
