Wow Arthur, Really neat how you’ve layered the black and white drawing over the splashes of blue, red and orange/yellow water color. That adds both complexity and maturity to the piece. There’s an aspect to the adding of the blue over the eyes and it being in a water color color style (like tears), in that shape of an upside down U, that brings some emotion to the (sadness?). Very interesting Arthur. Love, Mimi

Hi Arthur, The look of this Christmas tree is really interesting from the more simplified shape to the colors and the asymmetry of the left upper hand corner- is that the sun? Very neat. Nice work and nice to see you for the holiday. Love, Mimi

What a beautiful and interesting looking piece. I love how all the colors and patterns fit with in the star shape. That sort of gives it some structure and contrast against the varying patterns and colors. A nice contrast!! You are a star, a unique one Dear! Love, Mimi

Wow Arthur! What thoughtfully drawn fish. Those are beautiful, subtle colors in the body of the fish, such as the red. I am wondering how you made that background texture?! Very nice. Love, Auntie Mimi

Hi Arthur, That’s a neat contrast between the green and black squares and the yellow wall and the actual shades of the colors are also cool! Also, what would the yellow wall be without those blue cross lines which add dimension? I notice the cocoa is not a typical brown but inside the rim of the mug is and the steam arising looks like a darker shade of chocolate. How very interesting. The black lines on the mug making almost star shapes are striking with the red backdrop capturing the viewer’s attention. The blue at the top of the red is a really great touch against the red. Beautiful work Arthur! Love, Mimi

Hi Arthur, This piece seems peaceful and a bit contemplative with the dark silhouette of the tree against the beautiful winter sky and landscape. One question; the sun rising or setting? Nice work Dear. Love, Auntie Mimi

I like this purple dude. Purple is my favorite color. Although it makes him look a little bit creepy.

Hi Arthur, I notice a mood in this picture. I wonder what the boy is feeling? Is he sad? or angry? I notice that the neck is colored darker and looks a bit narrow or tight and his mouth sort of frowning. Or perhaps it is meant to be a night time drawing and it is dark out? Maybe you can tell me more about this one and others when I see you next. Your color choices here create a coherence with the mood. Great job. Love, Auntie Mimi

Dear Arthur, What a fantastic piece of work. I love that you used tiles in place of the crocodiles scaley skin. This was a very creative choice and reminds the viewer of of uniqueness of the texture of reptiles natural skin and it gives this piece a more tactile feeling and 3D appearance. I love the contrast between the green crocodile and the white and black lined background which enhances the 3D appearance and gives it a feeling of movement/aliveness. Thank you for adding me to your art fan club. Lots of Love, Aunti Mimi
