Max, I love your pastel! Your color choices/lines are so bold and exciting. The way you layered and arranged the pastels creates a wonderful movement within the picture. You also did a great job using the space on the paper. I can tell how much time and effort you put into this piece. And of course, purple and teal are my favorite color combinations! GG

OH, I really like the colors and shape of this picture. It reminds me of a bird flying in space . . . or a newfangled kind of airplane that has two side wings and a fuzzy warm blanket for the cockpit. This is cool! I like it a lot!

This is beautiful, peaceful, wonderful. The deep blue strokes are the waves of the ocean. My favorite animal, the whale, swims happily in his home. Above the pale shades of blue waterpaint surround the white clouds. It gives the sky this glorious feeling that all is right with this part of the ocean. The arctic terns flying overhead are looking for a site for their nests. The entire painting makes me happy. If I could have a wish, I would want the ocean world always to look as clean as seen in your painting. As always the colors you choose reflect the mood you wish to convey. This is very, very special.

I love your use of duotone: the red and pink colors. The red circle in the middle symbolizes to me, your home. The short strokes around it are soccer, hockey, piano and school. The pink circle and perpendicular strokes of pink, is the whirlwind of having to get everywhere - sometimes at the exact same time! I love the parents' upraised arms, as if saying, "How are we going to do this?!" Only one child is smiling. Who can that be? Your use of the bold red strokes at the top and side is the rush -- but everyone ends up where they are suppposed to be! I love your drawings! They always say so much to me. Great depth of the characters emotions. Congratulations on another great painting!

I love this picture! It is a combination of Monet and Van Gogh's Starry Nights. It seems as if there is a ray of light coming from the clouds and onto the ground. There is a cross in the shield. Art is so personal. This picture makes me think that in every storm, with faith . . . . light and hope will come. Beautifully done.
