Impactful block letter design in clay relief utilizing opposite blue and gold colors for a higher 3D effect. Nice!

Art , you have taken a blank piece of paper and transformed it with color and lines to make 2 subjects standing or dancing in a swirling colorfully lit dance hall, a TRex and an orange partner wearing a sombrero! Awesome

The main thing about sculpture or any 3D artwork is it has to be ascetically pleasing which means interesting to view from any angle. Many sculptures are monotone like a marble statue by Michelangelo. So your great colors make it visually interesting as well as the shapes that is awesome great job

I love landscapes. A foggy covered full moon, big flakes of snow swirling in breezy whiffs of air moving erratically against the black sky while colorfully lit evergreens look like great unmovable pyramids. Great technical execution of wash and splatter with masked paper collage.

A Zentangle Pet? Is this a doodle? A labradoodle or a peekadoodle? It’s a Micahdoodle! You have taught me something! I have seen this type of artwork but never knew there was a name for it! I’ve always been a doodler! Doodling and Art is therapeutic (zen)to one’s mind and creative spirit. It’s a means of momentary escape into a space, canvas, paper any media for that matter. A great way to focus! But Zentangle is the specific style you have successfully taught me about. Wow I’m inspired and filled with ideas. Don’t be surprised if I send you some zentangle! I also read that imperfections in a Zentangle are just more tangles, what ? That’s liberating! Thank you!

Another sophisticated piece of art. The mixed media placement of items. The great use of intense color and patterns then The symbols give this an austere seriousness. But since I spoke with you and am a former 20th century pac-man player myself the ghosts, the cherry And PAC Man himself lightened it all up!

Merry Christmas Rudolph! Is that an elf cleaning your ears? I love your symmetry of Rudolph’s face lookin straight on. The pie slice head shape, the eyes exactly where a deers eyes should be on the sides of its face not in front. And the warm colors throughout. This will make great Christmas cards!

Good modeling, anatomically correct representation of a bear cub, relative size of the size of the head in comparison to the body etc. The paw pads show your attention to detail.

This is very sophisticated, I’m blown away. This is the work of a prodigy. The transparent vivid color washes are placed in a perfect composition allowing your eyes to follow the colors to every portion of the canvas. Then the drawing, the drawing is over the top, I see zinnias, poppies, variegated leaves in serious detail while the satirical insects brings a smile -almost a jovial burst of laughter. What an illustration,I dont believe AI can compare to the genius that a young human artist’s imagination brings, and I hope it never will. Keep it up!

Another great character with very intricate details, the jewelry and textures in the legs, and it’s a friendly red bird that can talk! The red against the green and blue background visually pushes the bird up closer to the viewer. And that solitary EYE FOLLOWS ME WHEREVER I VIEW IT FROM!

I missed commenting on this and another work. I missed them somehow. Your characters are very whimsical and would make great illustrations for children’s books. This one has a great expression! Do you name characters you draw?

What great drawing and colors! It looks a lot like a Peter Max piece. Look him up. It’s so whimsical, looks like a paint or art factory with paint flowing and exploding out of intricate pipes or brushes. The pure bright colors are really exciting - no muddy spots or bleeds. Great job!

It’s The monochromaticgreen sea monster dragon! Mouth is agape reveling a multitude of teeth, glaring black eyes, razor sharp claws hatched from the green sea out of the volcanic lava flows!

Cool rainbow shades! A smile of confidence in a God Promise! Utilizing the entire space in big bold shapes, the monotone circular face broken by a blast of colorful large triangles pointing inward at the bridge of the nose which is implied by this but not drawn. But that smile expresses a large amount of personality in one thin turned up line. The opposition of the gold shirt against the light blue pushes the not shy at all face further out than the picture plane can hardly contain. And the hair is full of motion.

This piece has great color dispersion ,although a rainbow of colors none overpower the others. The alphabet in all sizes adds to the strength of the composition. Great Job

What a simple yet complete capture of a penguin representation. This captures their humorous awkwardness and those eyes oh those eyes Are looking straight at us and it’s smiling at us appearing like it could waddleon those big clumsy feet.

This looks just like a Monarch Butterfly’s wing. The blue background at the top looks just like clouds in the distance with the sun reflecting on them and the and the other strokes on the left side fade back into the distance. Amazing! Great work Micah!

Wow, what is that?! That is an interesting piece of art to look at. It’s like a sparkly Spider-Man’s web! Or a view of our circulating galaxy full of stars and planets observed through a kaleidoscopic telescope. Not sure of your medium but that’s some intense blue and red!

I knew this was Starry Night before I saw the assignment notes. Tremendous job Micah. The color the texture and the motion of the composition howbeit totally different from Van Gogh is just as interesting

One of my definition's of Art is: taking simple lines and colors and making it interesting. Here I see a painterly full spectrum of colors opaque to transparent and also great line drawing. Straight lines thin to thick horizontal vertical and forward slashing , curly vine shapes. The colorful panels come forward and fall back creating the illusion of depth. Very good job Micah!

When I first saw I saw a gray back gorilla down on all fours coming toward me in attack mode with his head down and tongue out, a frightening realistic interpretation and a very successful one I might add. But in viewing sculpture or any 3 dimensional piece in a 2 dimensional form ( on my IPad) i may be completely wrong but if it is an abstract piece I’m totally cool. It is powerful!

This mixed media self portrait collage shows off your great colorful paint washes and a very intense drawing style. Your pen and ink self portrait proportions are very close to real life. At your age your head is still larger in proportion to the rest of your body. Your forearms are at waist level and your detailed hands would touch your thighs if by your side. Your bright eyes and HAIR lets us know thats you for sure. And your nimble legs are ready to bolt! Good job on your writing!

Your 4 square rainbows if shuffled around properly would make a rainbow circle. Such bright bold brush strokes overlap against each other at their outer edges to combine transparently with the adjacent color to create a wide range of additional hues. The combination of 4 square portions creates a large square piece that is more interesting.
