This somewhat abstract style gives it an intriguing look. While giving enough information to give the viewer a fair guess to what they are looking at, the subject likely would vary from person to person. A butterfly? A snail? A giant creature with an entire city on its back? Wonderfully creative.

This is your Mom's favorite, and I like it a lot also. While it breaks some "rules", the composition for the subject is very good. Very pleasing to look at, and brings cheer to my day.

I am impressed with this art! It is true the use of black paper really makes it pop, but also the large sunflower in the foreground with the distant house and shop in the opposite corner is very interesting and excellent composition.
