Hi Nattie, Papa and I absolutely love your cardinal painting. Looks terrific, very lifelike, and is a great subject. Great colors, too. I saw a real cardinal on the branch outside our kitchen window a week or so ago and was so excited because we usually haven't seen the cardinals but he and his "lady" were right there and then went to the ground to feed. Did you have a cardinal sitting outside your window, too?

I LOVE your choice of colors. I especially like animals rolling eyes and expression. Another technique I really like is the black outline around some of the objects. Reminds me of a Henri Matisse!
