Love it, love it, love it!!! I agree that the eyes are the focal point of this piece but I also like the subtlety of the snout and the movement suggested by the tail. Color is perfect. The best part is that you are enjoying yourself so much by expressing your creativity through ceramics. That's my grandson!!!

This is an interesting piece based on its texture. I'd love to run my fingertips along the coils because it makes me want to "look with my hands instead of my eyes"! It reminds me of the trunk of a tree with a big knot on it...Ben, I can always trust you to come up with something interesting and thought-provoking!

Do I like it? No, I love it!! I love the realistic shading of color, the skin texture, and how it creeps me out just like a real lizard! My favorite part--the lizard lips! Well done Ben, I'm very proud of you.

Your chameleon reminds me of "Rango" and the million times you watched that movie as a kid. I don't know how you can look at your artwork without it putting a smile on your face!

Whoa, I want to hold this "orange egg" in my hand! I love the texture! Color too! It appeals to several senses--sight, sound, and feel. That's my grandson, Ben da Vinci!

I'm going to subtitle this piece as "Foghorn Leghorn" (he's a cartoon character that resembles your piece--check it out!). I see improvement with each of your projects and enjoy your choice of colors, symmetry/shape, and shiny glaze. You're creative, Ben, and I can't wait to see what you come up with next!
