Hi Eliana! Your piece, "Midnight Prayers", softly speaks the message of the Cross that Jesus died on. The red beads, formed in a circle around the candle holder, implies the journey that Jesus took while on Earth, but also speaks of the journey that we take in our Christian lives. I like to think that the candle (beautifully depicted to look so real) represents Jesus Christ as the Light of the World.

Dear Eliana, I'm studying your recent works "Pulling at Heart Strings," and "The Taste of Nostalgia." I like both, for different reasons. I sense strong emotional upheaval from "Pulling," and I fear the fingers which yank and control feelings and thoughts. Contrastingly, I feel peace from your impressionistic "Nostalgia." The strawberries look tasty, the tile on the wall cheerful, and Mt. Rainier soothing and familiar. I can almost see the scene in your home. Congratulations on your development as a painter, able to convey complex and contrasting emotions!
