WOW! Now that is a very fashion-forward, bold, and creative piece, Hazel!! I love it!! I especially love the choice of bright pink for the background and those rockin’ boots!! You look like you’re ready for some big fun!!

Hazel has a real gift for capturing an animal’s personality—it feels specific and true, not just like a general portrait. She also has a great eye for color and always seems to pick just the right tones to make everything come together naturally. This new piece is one of my favorites to date.

I think this is my favorite of Hazel's work so far. She really is a gifted artist. I love her use of color, and in this piece, I love the way we can see inside the colorful bowl and recognize the ingredients in it. Hazel loves soup, and this piece makes me want to sit beside her, with a bowl of soup and her perfect company.
