Well E if Steve wins that stare down and gets the diamond I have just the ring that needs a diamond! Love seeing your imagination at work E.

Oh Elliott - I love the texture of the snow in your picture and it does remind me of a couple years ago when I saw snow piled this high along the road to your house. Your picture would definitely be a snow day! Maybe dad and you can put those permanent lights outside your new house since you like the lights on the fence. But personally - grammie is ready to move on to a nice spring day!

I love these guys! Grammie just put food out for her cardinals yesterday. This might be my favorite piece of art work you have posted buddy!

Grammie really likes your creativity Elliott. You have a lot of details in this picture. You did a nice job with some shading. Is this done with markers, paint, chalk, crayon? I'm thinking it might be markers.

You always do a great job using color E. This would make a beautiful flag for some country. Could be the USA with red, white and blue. Sometimes when I look at this picture I wonder if I'm standing inside a hot air balloon looking up. Other times I see a sunset/sunrise. What were you envisioning when you were painting it?

This one makes me feels a little worried for that little tree and house, but the tornado really looks like it is swirling.

E - I don't think I saw a single one of these this last fall. Did you see any on the farm? You have a very unique tree branch there with three different leaves. I bet those guys have already been munching on the leaves. Love your creative name!

E - you must like landscape art. I notice a lot of your pictures are sky, water, nature. I like how you always think about what the reflection will look like. Keep up enjoying your work and using that imagination.

This is so cool - you have such a good eye for art. I can tell you enjoy creating your pieces of artwork. Amazing how you thought to use all different types of brushes and not just repeat one kind. Keep up the good work E!

This almost fooled me into thinking the paintbrushes where real! I think it's the shadows on one side of them that make them look 3-D.

I like the way you drew your trees. It almost looks like the type of animation used in Charlie Brown. Great job!

I really like the night sky! It reminds me of some of our National Park camping adventures.

I love that sky Elliott. That would be a beautiful camping trip. I think the Northern Lights are lighting up those mountain tops. I would love to visit that place and sleep in a tent under that beautiful sky. I would probably sit around the campfire all night. Wonder if that fisherman catches any fish? :)

This guy reminds me of Toothless a little bit. I bet your sister will like this one!

Elliott - Is this a stained glass drawing in a clay frame? The "windows" look like a beautiful sunset on a blue lake! Papa always said he was going to learn how to make stained glass projects. Maybe someday both of you can actually cut glass and make a real stained glass to hang in my window.

I like the details on the leaves and the woodgrain on the table, too!

E - I can't believe how many cool pieces of art you have already made this year. Looks like you are getting to try lots of different mediums. You have an eye for art. I think this was a bouquet just for grammie! :) Anxious to see this one in person. Clay seems heavy to be attached to paper so wondering how you made it.

E - I love this picture. Reminds me of cherry blossoms. Looks like you are enjoying your art classes!

Elliott, I like the wan you created different shapes and sizes for each letter in your name. That's super creative!

I like the blossoms, too, but I think my favorite part is actually the background fading from dark to light. Were you going for a sunrise/sunset idea or just wanted to change colors across the page?

I like the different layers of bubbles in the background as well as all the colors!
