Your fantasy landscape is on point! The backgrounds and the castle & unicorns make the fantasy world come to life.

What a great Winter Wonderland you have created??! Wouldn’t it be fun to go walkin’ in that winter wonderland, see the snowmen and throw snowballs at Grandma??? Haha Your Grumpy Grandpa thinks you did a great job…

I love everything about this! Penguins, snowmen, a beautiful pink sky with big fluffy snowflakes. (But I especially like the little orange cat!) Nice work, Ilsa!!

Purple! I know it’s your favorite color and this piece of art is the perfect way for you to let others known who you are! I really like the strong background design - makes me think of all the hills you are about to climb! Nicely done.

Love the apples especially because you show the different apple colors. The leaves catch my eye also. I also love your happy bowl; hearts in your favorite color!

This reminds me of the art of Yayoi Kusama, who does a lot of work with dots. I think this is a beautiful piece that emphasizes the organic nature of the subject. Great job!

I love the nose you drew on the moon, and the blue stars that surround it…the blend of purple and blue hues is lovely. Looking at this sun, makes me feel its warmth and brightness on a hot summer day. Excellent picture, Ilsa!

Ilsa, I see your hand reaching for the sky! What a clever way to represent a tree.

The different hues of blues are mesmerizing. The rain clouds are serious and make a strong contrast to the bright and cheery rainbow. Lovely watercolor painting.

This artwork is a raw, exuberant little scream of joy masquerading as a tree. It has the emotional directness of a sidewalk chalk drawing, but in the best way—unfiltered, unpolished, and totally sincere. The trunk is rendered in thick, assertive brown strokes—almost like a child’s hand raised in declaration—while the blossoms explode into a riot of reds, pinks, and whites. There’s a finger-painting honesty here, a refusal to be subtle. The sky is a pure, hopeful blue, the kind that still believes in things. It’s not trying to be clever, and thank god for that. It knows what it is: a celebration of spring, rebirth, maybe even resistance in the form of unapologetic color. If art is about presence, this painting is shouting, “I am here!”—and you can’t help but listen.
