I think this is a moonrise! The sun is still putting color in the sky and the moon is slowly rising behind the sea! That’s what i see. Even if I’m wrong, it’s still beautiful! Lovely, bold colors! Great job! Makes me feel like i’m spending the weekend at the ocean! Thanks for that. :-)

Shea this reminds me of guava that I used to eat growing up in Fiji. Is this going to be a candy dish? I will have to get some tropical jelly beans to fill it up with.

Shea - is that a watermelon bowl?!?! When did your class start working with clay? Is this something you can put tiny trinkets in? I won’t put this one on a mug unless you want me to. It is really good though and makes me think of summer!

Shea - is this from torn paper? Is it a sunrise? I like the yellow and orange part at the top. This is going to be cool on a mug! Xoxo Mee Maw

Someone has probably already told you this, but they look good enough to eat! I want the one with the cherry. I see your shadow work under and behind the cupcakes. Good job! Did you like working with those pastel crayons and watercolor brushes? Seems fun! Great job sweet pea. Love, aunt sis.

I like the section that is green and blue! Top middle section. Did you know Artsonia will put your art on a Christmas ornament??

Love it! The pink one is my favorite. Did you use crayon or colored pencil? It is interesting how all of your classmates’ pictures are the same circles and squares yet everybody’s picture and vision is so very different. This is very interesting project. Well done! Love you Sweet Pea, Aunt Sissy

You captured the lesson of Kusama’s work really well! Big dots, little dots, dots within dots! I also like the blended background colors. They really make your pumpkin stand out! Well done, Sweet Pea! Love, Aunt Sis

Shea- maybe we could have a polka dot theme at the pumpkin carving contest sometime! Ms. Meske is introducing you to some creative artists. You must love it because YOU are very creative! I think there is a little bit of Nannie in you as she was creative too.

This is great! I have to look at it over and over again. The profile seems sad but the front view is smiling again. So many colors! It looks like this was a hard project but you did it so well! Love the hair! Im proud of you Sweet Pea!

Wow Shea! That looks so cool. It kind of looks like me but then I looked closer and think it could be meemaw because she has short hair and I have long grey hair. I love this with beautiful colors.

Shea! Very cool! I used to have several Picasso posters in my classroom…..my favorite was The Old Guitarist. Just think how cool you set of mugs will look with all of your original artwork on them! XoxoMee Maw
