The proportions of the owl are excellent. I love your line technique to portray not only feathers, but shading too.

I like the choice of color scheme and how the deep hues frame the shape. The contrast between right angles and rounded accent shapes keeps the whole piece interesting.

When I first saw this, I thought it was a sculpture. It looks 3D and seems to sit on top of the page. I can tell that you took great care in your line work to make the shapes insistent within each pattern. The undulating pattern in the upper left gives the appearance of fabric that is drawn back to reveal a geometric landscape. Superb!

The highlights and shadows really give depth to the trees. My eye is drawn to the vibrant colors in the sky.

If I didn't know better, I would have guessed that this was a 3D piece of art. The shading makes it seem like it is wave-shaped. I think the stark black and white contrast creates an optical illusion of movement. It is a very exciting drawing!

I like the symmetry of the shape. The blue shading really draws my eye to the center of the piece. The colors that you chose complement each other and the warm tones are giving me sunrise/set vibes. Well executed
