I like the intensity of color and perspective. It looks supersaturated and transparent at the same time. It feels like stained glass.

Paul has done masterful art in creating this artwork. He uses a broad color palette of mixing desaturated colors to form a background with pure primary colors to make areas advance and recede. The 3D image is exciting - an eyeopener for me that these mixed materials were combined to form such sophisticated art……the design is exciting and captivating and incorporating the red beads was genius in making the image “pop”. It Is difficult to look away: now that is fine art.

Paul has effectively shown in this artwork how he developed 4 basic design images. From the basic concept drawings in horizontal row 1, he then in row 2, introduced textural features to each image. The final artworks in row 3 are good representations of thought processes to introduce texture and dynamism. Combining texture and movement can be difficult and Paul showed it to be interesting and accomplished.

I love this piece! It is playful and dynamic. It looks like it is being squeezed and might pop! I love the curve to the right that the yellow and grey tube makes toward the bottom of the piece. It connects in a neat way with the blue and red tube.

The progression of the work is interesting! It becomes more dimensional. The series on the right finishes with movement.

Paul’s art work is so intriguing by making foreground and background shapes transpose in the viewers vision; thereby making the eye linger here and there while trying to connect the relative yet relatable shapes……so very interesting. Let’s see More Intrigue!!!!!
