My honest initial response was, “Oh, WOW!” This is so beautiful. So impressive. The fur looks so realistic. The lines are so graceful. You are so talented, Will!!!

Your eye and patience for detail is inspiring. All those fine lines and subtle color variations aren’t lost on me. The part that really draws my eye and tells my brain- this is a real apple- is the crown around the stem. The green, the illusion of indentation… so well done. Chef’s kiss! Oh! And the shadow at the base! I love the “loose ends”. It’s like the light was “spilling” so the shadow is spilling too. Super cool style.

You really added your personal style to this with the insects and spider. I love it. The bones are so delicate and precise. The light work is so impressive. Like there’s soft light shining up from the bottom creating that hazy glow. The black and white contrasts with the bright colors in a very interesting way- this is alive. This is not. And almost like it’s the color and life bringing in the light. You really are such a talented artist!

I am so impressed! I love this! It looks like pen. It’s wild that you were able to achieve that level of control with watercolor. Did you use a single hair?! It reminds me of Boomie, (spelling?) the unhinged Earth Bending King from Avatar. The heterochromia and detail in the eyes are super cool too. You are an AMAZING artist.

I like this a lot. It’s very expressive and interesting. The shape of the letters reflects the vibes of the drawings and words. I love the vivid blue in the Ls. Overall, to me it says this person has been knocked off kilter, but remains strong, passionate, and creative, despite having seen a darker side of life.
