Per Kameron, you hold the top to protect you, and the bottom is a laser. Then inside in the middle of it is a power gem. It makes it keep going. To turn it off, press the power gem. To turn it on, you have to go outside in the sun and press the power gem again and then you have to wait a couple seconds or minutes and then it will turn on. The power gem will glow when it turns on.
