This looks like your first attempt at weaving... I like it a lot... Your color choice is good, and I love your weaving of the strips of fabric, at least it looks like a fabric texture.... I did several simple weaving approaches when I was teaching.. I used cut paper strips of construction paper.. one completely all strips, and the other a 12 x 18 with slits cut in for the strips to interweave in that base.... Fun projects, and as I said a beginning step in weaving introduction.. It looks as if you are being introduced to Alwa lots of different techniques and enjoying your art... Like this magazine collage to represent a color wheel... Great job, and interesting choice of colors... I love to do Collages myself using Magazines and other add sections of newspapers that have color.. I also like you comments that follow your work, showing what you feel you learned from the project... Interesting and astute.... Your pumpkin also was fun... and you are right your lettering could be improved.. Lettering is always a problem for me as well.. not just your coloring, but the actual letters need to be more carefully designed to fit the space, as well as to show up... but it was a fun poster for Halloween....
