I liked this design and the color combinations. The hearts look like they are streaming through the veins and arteries with the blood cells on the side. It is a nice visual even if not thinking about health.

Allison, I liked your design. Neat way to tie a lot of things together with the vinyl record, the title, bracelets, and the center rings in smaller version to the outside designs. Attractive and interesting.

Allison, I enjoyed seeing what you find important at home. All good things. You may not like the orange background, but it makes everything pop. Love,

I originally thought that "Friendship" was what you were supposed the prompt, but it is interesting that you picked that for your theme for the year. Very nice subject. I, too, like the "Peas-in-a-Pod". That's often what friends are. And including "Mom" is very special. We all need friendships.

Neat design! Great to share your goal. I like your puzzle pieces used for the title and it is good to have the actual races shared. Good luck at State!

Allison, I know you like baking cupcakes, so it is understandable why you went with this topic. Have you used purple frosting when baking? The right side of the picture appears rather gothic and hard to see. It may be just the way the photo of your artwork came out.

I was surprised to see that I hadn't made a comment on this project. You did a great job of duplicating half of the photo. A lot of detail involved. Well done. I appreciated your comments about your mom and all that she does for you. That was very nice of you to share.

Love this piece with the bike, added decorations, and the water spraying out from the tires. Interesting plants growing upside down. Cute project!

Hi Allison, This is unique. I'm still thinking about the theme. I definitely see the corset but am pondering on some of the other object. I like the shading of colors.

Allison, I liked your mermaid. It was appropriate that you choose "swim" as your word since you are so involved in swimming and teaching swimming. You incorporated aspects of your swim experiences into your drawing.

Allison, I love your rendition of Daisy. I think there is a very good likeness shown. It's amazing that by just changing the patterns, you can have a neat unique picture of Daisy.

Allison, I love the flowers. They look very realistic. Interesting the appearance of each is a bit different. Groups of three are always pleasant to the eye. Nice piece.

Hi Allison, I once did a grid art piece and just like you, I was surprised at how well it turned out. The portrait of you looks quite realistic. I'm interested in the background bright colored figures. I'd like to know more about them.

Allison, Nicely done and very neat and precise with the various colors. This reminds me of sunsets at the coast with waves crashing and the sun setting with lovely colors. It does look like a fun project to do.

Hi Allison, I remember doing this type of project in school. I'm glad you enjoyed this. The theme is quite relevant for this time of year. Even though you said that carving the curves was hard, you did a good job. Well done, Allison,

Dear Allison, I love butterflies and it was fun to see your creation of one. You said that the hardest part was the antennae. I can see why, when having to make them with ripped paper. You did a great job on them. The background is interesting since it appears to be ripped paper with writing on it. Gives it a nice texture. Keep up the great work. Love,
