In this picture, Katelyn has brilliantly encrypted a blue Star of David, by using geometric masking, which is obvious around the six-pointed star, as well as by using orange, which is the complementary/photographic negative color for blue.

This little… lizard? hiding on the… back? of a much bigger lizard, is a reminder that when we feel too small to take on life’s problems, we can always find refuge in the Lord, who isn’t really a lizard (the lizard is just an allegory here), but He is much bigger than we are.

Katelyn’s portrait of a cheetah at rest reminds me that no matter how fast-paced life can get, e we should always take some time off to admire God’s creation.
