I would like to see the original painting. I’m guessing that this is a crayon resist and that the painting is created by scraping away pigments to reveal the image. What’s missing is the textural effects created by doing a painting like this. It is still interesting and I’m really happy that you are trying different techniques. Keep up the good work!

WOW! Now you are talking my language! I LOVE this one. I've been thinking about getting a cat, and this piece really motivates me to do so! Good art speaks to everyone. Sometimes it makes us angry, mad, sorry, happy, joyful, inspired, and thoughtful. Great art inspires the whole range of emotions we feel. If your artwork has something the viewer can relate to, they will internalize what they see, and that's when the artwork becomes something very special to them. That's the beauty of great art!
