Whoa! It makes me dizzy looking at this piece. Maybe not dizzy exactly, but I sure feel the vibrancy of the background colors reacting with the cyclic nature of the repetitive letters. It's like you tossed your name into the mirror maze. My favorite part is the gradient shading you achieved in the letters. I will definitely have to look closer at this when your bring home the original.

I love your description of how this method helped you to focus on small parts and avoid being overwhelmed. In the end I can see all the detail of how all the sections connect and blend into each other to make this amazing balloon. I can see this floating around in our living room!

I like how you used the mixed colors in your painting of the endangered Amur leopard. The colors blended nicely along with creating the color scheme you wanted. The use of the dry brush technique was an added touch to your painting. Very impressive Andres.

I didn't know how you made the flowers so realistic until I read your description. It looks amazing! I now need to know what it says on the side.

I always found noses hard to draw. You did a real good job on ol' tuts here. I also like that you are learning about color theory and the wheel. It's important to know what colors go together and which do not. Color!

Andres, I'm really enjoying viewing your artistic creativity. I like the clay Cuneiform tablet, the work you put into it and how it ties to the history on the civilization of Mesopotamia. Well done!??

That is one good looking kid! You always do a great job copying cartoons like Mario, so I'm not surprised to see how well you did on a selfie! It is definitely you! From the sensible smile and big, bright eyes to your yellow shirt.

First, I really like the background. Even though it is only black on white, the movement of the lines give it a sense of vibrancy. I can see colorful lights and feel the music and sounds. I also like looking around and seeing what is hidden in amongst the shapes... People, animals, plants, buildings... So much to see. Then what really makes it stand out is the bright earth with the popstar dancing on top. You like orange and I like green, what could be better? He looks like he's taking it easy and enjoying the scenery.
