Wade, you always want to eat your gingerbread house as soon as you finish it. I hope you didn't try to eat this one, lol! Thanks for getting me in the Christmas mood with your wonderful gingerbread scene. I can almost smell the scent . . . yum. . . .

Wade-O, that's an awesome rendering of the Eiffel Tower! While I know that sometimes the tower is lighted, you lit it up with many vibrant colors in your artwork. Superb job, Artist Wade!

I just knew this was a self-portrait . . . hair was a dead giveaway. You make a great superhero, and you make great art, Wade! I have really enjoyed your art work this year in first grade. Thanks for sharing and lots of super love to you!!

Hey, Wade-O! I just saw this amazing piece of art and had to tell you that you did a fantastic job with your assignment! I especially liked the sky you created. If this were a real scene, I would immediately think . . . I need to take a picture of this because it is sooo beautiful. Wade, indeed, you "took a picture" of it . . . thank you! Love you more!!

Well, you made me do it . . . I had to go to the end of the road and grab an ice cream. Although it was not Italy's gelato, it did remind me of the many times we had made ice cream runs when you grandboys visited. Wade, you've created a sensory/emotional experience (ask your mom to explain), and that's a big part of what great art is all about! Keep up the fantastic work! I love you more than I love ice cream!!

Oh, WADE, I see YOU!! What a great way to end your year in art class! You created a very realistic self-portrait. I especially like the eyes and, of course, the smile. I always like your smile . . . even when you lose a tooth. Love you much!

Wade-O, what a great snowman!! This guy would make the perfect Christmas card. You may have a future career in making artwork for greeting cards. It could happen! Love you more than the number of all the snowflakes in a snowstorm!

Hey, Artist Wade, this pumpkin is just right for Halloween! You could put this work of art on the door to your room at home to remind your family that Halloween will soon be here. You did a great job with the creation of this pumpkin. I especially like its teeth. A vampire pumpkin . . . ? Much love from your spooky grandmother!

Wow, Wade, you did a great job with your robot! You had a lot of work to do in drawing, cutting, and gluing, but it all paid off with excellent results. Are those wheels or balls at the end of the robot's legs to help him move?? If so, you thought of everything. . . . Keep up the good work! Much love to you. . . .

Hello, Artist Wade-O! I am excited to see your first art project at Dove Creek. I like the way you used ALL those colors. Exactly how many colors did you use?? I'm guessing when you were finished, there was no more paint, lol! Keep up the great work, Wade . . . love you much!
