Is the title indicative of the artist's feelings when creating the sculpture? :) It does look like a "K" so I think this project was a success. I also think Robert Indiana would approve of the color choices.

You should have made the letter E for Ember. :)

The creature looks very balanced - its head is about the same size as its tail and the hump is centered in the middle. Therefore, the creature should be able to stay on the pyramid.

I like the darker shading in the shadow. It looks like you used a 4B or 6B.

Nice job with the shadow.

That's a great job balancing the wheel on the point of the pyramid! The stripes kind of tie the three critters together.

Great job on drawing the cylinder, Cole. It definitely has a 3-dimentional look. The shading on the cylinder is smooth, making it appear quite realistic. This is a good lesson on how light affects the way you look at objects before drawing them.

What in interesting "mashup creature"! I especially like the frog and camel elements. The little hump on the creature's back made me smile. I also liked the way that the creature could balance on top of the pyramid.

I like the mashup creature on this one!

Great detail on the feather in the lower right corner!

Good job! The thing on the left looks almost like a dried fish--what is it?

Hi Cole. Thanks for sharing your cyanotype. I especially like the background that looks like smoke drifting behind your main objects. It adds depth to your picture and creates an interesting effect.

Cole - I liked the winding blue ball pattern and I especially enjoyed finding the hidden messages. Fun!

"Thank goodness . . . Oh No!, Not Again"--I saw that, slipped in there. Trying to hide little messages?

Great Work Cole!
