I liked your 3 unique characters. They had a 3-D quality & each had his own personality. I would like to know what you named them. We could tell that you put thought & care into each of them. And each one had tentacles without looking anything alike. We really enjoyed your creativity.

Wow! Very nice work. The background and table have bright, rich—yet great contrasting colors. The patterns in them add to the overall painting without overwhelming it. The vase is a full bouquet of the flowers you chose in brilliant colors which makes them the beautiful focal point. The shadows on the table and vase plus the ellipse of the bottom of the vase all make it look 3-dimensional. Those are difficult concepts! Well done, grandson!

This pointillism tree is a unique design on the canvas bag I got for my birthday from you (as the artist) and your family. I will have a pretty bag in green, blue and purple that will remind me of you each time I use it. It also represents the care you took in creating this design. Great work Thank you~

Wow! This would make beautiful Christmas cards to send out to family & friends! The bright chalk colors on the black background is particularly outstanding. The folds in their robes really make them look 3-dimensional. Baby Jesus being cradled between Mary and Joseph is wonderful!

Very good job on perspective! I didn’t learn about that until Junior High art class. You interpreted the assigned concepts well…from the road down middle to trees lining one side & structures on the other. I like the basketball on the front of what must be a gym or a store selling them. Well executed ideas. (Papa said that part.)

Wow! Your design elements are so intricate & you did them very neatly & artistically. I really like the added element of the Sharpie marker as a tribute to your tool for this project. Well done!

Good work on your sketches. I can see improvement as you worked on these. Practicing favorite images whether they are animals, portraits, houses, (still life’s—flowers to fruit) or scenes, will help you to develop your eye for detail. Plus it is fun! Adding your own special techniques & color also keeps it new & challenging. Never stop doing art! It improves your enjoyment of the beauty of God’s creation.

Oh-Wow! Your box has eyes! Blue eyes! I like the color combination that you chose because the white figures on the lid really stand out as do the blue “eyes” on the base. Well done & very creative!

This portrayal of a sports figure looks like it could be used in an ad. The way he is moving the ball with confidence says it all. The orange & blue color scheme makes it a universal statement! Keep the fun ideas coming!

This perky fellow brings us smiles. We enjoy the bright red feathers right down to the detailed claws. The branches show realistic gnarls & the background grays look like a very wintery day. Well done, grandson!!

Mimi loves the expressions on the faces of the animals surrounding Baby Jesus & that the baby has a form & isn't portrayed as just a lump. Very well done with feeling my grandson!
