i happened to have the artist with me. it was great to get here impressions. This rocket ship was apparently unmanned. Ellie says she would prefer a golf cart ride to space trip.

Ellie's growth as an artist is evident. Such soulful eyes gives the impression that something is amiss. Did someone eat his porridge?

Ellie brings mystery to this piece by not naming it. It leaves to the viewer the opportunity to imagine what she aspires to convey. Is it an homage to Picasso or Braque? Or is she challenging us to reach for the stars as she develops a new approach.

Ellie! This reminds me of fall in Maryland. Maybe you can come up here next year and see how pretty the leaves look! Just like yours ?

I can see Ellie's math mind at work with her use of acute angles in this project. The primary colors add definition and the happy faces bring JOY!?

She has Joan Miro's eye for expressionism and surrealism. Quite a feat for a 4 year old. I can see the internal struggle of the tortured artist in this work. I'm getting emotional.
