Every time I look at this piece, I see something different. I keep thinking there’s a story, maybe a river maybe some sort of ninja warrior maybe with a blanket. And then the next time I see it it looks like the waste paper basket in the art teacher’s classroom. Which makes me think a lot of creativity had been going on. Whatever it was supposed to mean, I have enjoyed looking at it. I think Caleb is becoming a very talented artist.

I like the varied shapes and colors, some cut or marked. It makes me think of the process of creating art, which can be chaotic.

As an artist, Master Caleb seems to be evolving away from a completely abstract milieu towards a earlier Picasso-esk esthetic, but still uniquely Caleb-esk in the use of form and media to represent a unique vision of avian existence and angst. .

I love the overall look of the piece. The sharp angles speak of machines and technology needed to be in space, while the odd leaning of the individual element convey the idea of confusion and lostness. Really nice work.
