Ewan, this is an interesting drawing with the white shape formed by the very dark background. It really stands out! Love, Gran

Ewan, clever whimsical drawing of a bird and a fish, both flying. Or is the bird swooping down hoping to catch the fish? The fish seems totally unaware. Love, Gran

Ewan, this whimsical creature is so creative. You’ve combined all sorts of interesting shapes to form the body and then used those interesting pencil sketches to form legs and hold up the wobbly head. Nice job! Love, Gran

Ewan, you’ve placed your tree nicely in a broader landscape. I like the trees and shadows at the horizon. Just a few blades of grass in the front or foreground suggest a grassy field. Love, Gran

Ewan, charcoal drawing can be a lot of fun because you can add depth to your work with just a few strokes. This tree without leaves yet is very nice. Love, Gran

Ewan, I see a road through the trees here. Lots of nice grass at the base and more shade on the left side of your work. Thank you for sharing Love, Gran

Ewan, I enjoyed watching your drawing steps to create a tree. From the first one, I see you use charcoal shading to add depth to the limbs and trunk and masses of leaves. Great job! Love, Gran

Ewan, you’ve done a really nice job of using different values of green to depict your landscape. By using different values, your shapes make your painting have depth. It’s a nice step up from 2 dimensional drawings. I’ve never painted with acrylics. Perhaps we can have a painting day with those soon. I like the different colors you mix. Love, Gran
