So much creativity in this piece. You drew me in with the use of color, papers, doodles and your sweet three year old self. It was like having a glimpse of your soul…those things that speak to you and have shaped your life. Beauty, scripture and rays of sunshine to name just a few. Art is so much more than just a piece, it is a piece of the artist and you successfully captured that concept. Well done Sweet Selah. Patti (Nana)

I love everything about this collage! My favorite part could be the adorable 3 year old subject... but I also love how you added Bible verses in creative ways and your doodles add great personality to your piece. It is joyful and meaningful. Well done!

This piece of artwork demonstrates your understanding and representation of Pop Art. You successfully captured the use of color, subject and style of the time. Andy Warhol would have been pleased. Each of your artworks shows a new appreciation and maturation of your comprehension of the creativity and beauty of the language of art. It’s been so fun to watch you grow in this area!

I have taught Egyptian art and I would have loved to have you in as a guest teacher. Your piece is creative and a good representation of the Egyptian style of art. The yellow boots, are an intriguing element to your composition. The hieroglyphics make me wonder. What do they say? Well done Selah!

Selah, Each new painting becomes my favorite. Your composition is well balanced. The contrast of the subject and background really makes the pitcher stand out as the point of interest. The strawberries add color and delight. I appreciate this style too. Patti (Nana)

This might be my favorite. Your boldness of strokes, color combinations, use of light and dark. The feeling is tranquil and calming. It would be some were lovely to visit. A quiet place to sit in the window and read a book. I love how you draw your audience into your work. You are gifted.

Selah, The way you express in words what you are feeling through your art is amazing! I love this painting. It gives the viewer a chance to wonder and ponder about the subjects, their mood, their thoughts, do they know each other…Well done!

This is so cool! I love the way you can feel a connection between these two by they way they are sitting - as if they are looking at each other - just through the contrast and focus you put on those two windows. I love it!
