I think the use of the warm colors of your leaves contrasting with the cool blue of the water is just outstanding. I love how you used nice borders on all of your leaves to accentuate the points. Hi Madeline! It's mom. :) I love your self portrait. I see that you are in the middle of giving a dog a bath as a pet groomer, so I won't keep you! I like how you made your pretty long brown hair "in action" blowing around because it would make sense that you'd be busy trying to keep a wet puppy in the water! I also love the bright pink background. Reminds me of Charlie Brown movies when the illustrator paints the sky a "non-sky" color. :)

Hi Madeline! I love love love your beautiful red tea cup. You picked one of my favorite colors. Your tea cup is not weak or dainty. It is solid and strong, just like you! I can see how carefully you formed the lines that decorate the sides of the cup and you did a great job on the handle which must have been challenging.
