Brilliant color combination, it reminds me of a fire like sunset in fall!

Colors and patterns that fill my imagination with thoughts of sitting down to a fun game or cozying up with a race car like quilt! Fun!

Your use of color & texture show this magical bird in its unique habitat! Fun fact, the snowy owl has feathers on its feet like fuzzy slippers!

There are 7 continents: Europe, Asia, Africa, North America, South America, Antartica and Australia. The 5 major oceans are Atlantic, Pacific, Indian, Arctic and Antarctic. The ocean is responsible for life on the whole planet. The ocean feeds us, gives us oxygen to breathe and keeps us warm. The ocean absorbs 98% of the heat from the sun. Every time you breathe, you are breathing 50% oxygen from the ocean. Ocean currents bring warm water, food for little and big fish and keep the coral reefs alive. Mommy mentioned Coral. Coral reefs are animals who mass up together and become a colony. Coral reefs provide shelter for fish to lay their eggs, and prevent large waves from running over the land. Your sea life look scary to the big fish. He's a fraidy cat. Huh.

I wonder what will happen if the sea animals touch the Coral?

Sunflowers follow the sun across the sky from morning 'till night turning their heads. Sunflower oil is the healthiest oil in the world. Sunflowers do not need pollinators, like bees, to reproduce. The tallest sunflower measured over 30'. The bonsai sunflower can be as short as 2'. I can tell that the sun is shining on your sunflower from the right, because of the beautiful green shading you provided. The bee on the left is happy. The bee on the right is dizzy. His flying is all wiggly as delineated by the broken trajectory trail line behind him. I guess he doesn't know what beeline means. I'll say no more. Ask Mommy. Well done!

I love the way the orange bug is flying over the purple tulip and the purple bug is flying over the orange tulip. Red, orange, green and blue, shiny yellow, purple too. All the colors that we know, live up in a rainbow. Tiptoe through the tulips with me. Knee deep through flowers we'll stray. We'll keep the showers away. And if I sing to you in the garden, in the moonlight, will you pardon me, and tiptoe through the tulips with me.

April showers bring lovely may flowers!

Oh how wonderful. A color wheel. The primary colors are R, Y and B. R and B make P. Y and B make G. Y and R make O. And here's something else. Y & P make brown, R and G make brown. P and G also make brown. Well just to say, there are 15 ways to make brown. Color is fun. I knew a man who is color blind. He can't distinguish between red and green. He won a prize for a seascape he did and it was all in purple. He didn't know he'd done that. All he saw were shades of blue. I wonder what color he must have dropped onto his blue palate by mistake, to make all sorts of purple shades for his ocean painting. Can you guess?

From Norman Rockwell to Leonardo da Vinci, many famous artists preserved themselves forever in self-portraits. Da Vinci did Mona Lisa, The Last Supper and his self-portrait. Da Vinci was a polymath. He was expert in many areas of study, painting, architecture, botany, geology, human anatomy, cartography, hydrodynamics, astronomy, alchemy, oh, and robotics, just to scratch the surface. And looking at your own portrait I can see a robot shape. Cell phones and computers contain artificial intelligence because they are programmable. There is no limit to your potential and you can be anything you want to be, including having multiple careers simultaneously. Da Vinci was a polymath. So are you. I'll say no more. I am so proud of you. I love you.

Alphabet Art What a wonderful way to introduce the writing novice to the forms and shapes needed to create the Letters of our English Alphabet. I love the outlining colors you assigned to each letter. Alpha means first and Beta means second in the Greek alphabet. I know you knew that because, what impressed me the most was the way you included a few of the letters of the original Phoenician alphabet in your composition. Your subtlety is not lost on me, my friend. Well done!

Line Monsters are made up of several different kinds of horizontal lines. Straight. Wavy. eeeeeee. Vertical scratches. And castle. Castle lines are also known as Turret lines. Turrets are roof lines on a castle. It's where the king's soldiers would position themselves to throw things at the advancing enemies. Then you color in the spaces with different colors. The face is done at the end. Love the pointy teeth and the eyelashes. He looks like a happy actor monster, who knows his lines.

Abstract art by definition is meaningless, so in effect, you can't make a mistake. The beholder sees something obvious only to him. One painting appeals to multitudes in a multitude of ways. There's something for everyone. Well done! I'll tell you, I love the way you've outlined all the different pretty pastel colors in shapes of black. You separated them that way. It's like having supper in a divided compartment plate so your food doesn't touch. I love it! Grammy!

Monochromatic art, is art using only one color. The black is diluted with white and gray is produced. You can have hundreds of shades of gray, not just 50. You made gray snowpeople and a gray tree. Ask your teacher about shading. Snow is white, but in shadow, it is gray. Okay, you might see yellow snow from time to time. Just don't eat it.

Ho Ho Ho! This looks like a snowman wearing a Santa Claus hat and a colorful scarf and a Christmas sweater. He has apples for eyes and a carrot for his nose and a licorice twist for a mouth. Either that, or it's Papa coming in from shoveling. He looks like he's set off my car alarm, trying to brush the snow off. That's more like it. Love, Grammy

“ Through the sapphire sky Keeps great and small on the endless round It's the circle of life And it moves us all Through despair and hope Through faith and love Till we find our place On the path unwinding In the circle The circle of life” - Written by Elton John & Tim Rice

To be sung to the tune of "Oh My Darling Clementine" Albuquerque is a Turkey, and he's feathered and he's fine. And he wobbles and he gobbles and he's absolutely mine. He's the best pet, that you can get, better than a dog or cat. He's my Albuquerque Turkey and I'm very proud of that. He once told me, very frankly, he preferred to be my pet, Not the main course at my dinner, and I told him not to fret. Now my Albuquerque is so happy in his bed, 'Cause for our Thanksgiving Dinner, we had mac 'n cheese instead.

A rainy day in which to play. I see Heartface Mommy, Blockhead Daddy, Blueberry Boy, Diamond Head Grammy and, the only one without an umbrella, Squished Irish Greenface Papa. And over all the Family floats a beautiful, colorful rainbow! Grammy is always happiest when it's raining.

What's this! Look at all the colors and shapes. Could it be a kaleidoscope? Could it be a cool sunset through the Halloween trees? Oh wait, I know. It's what's left at the bottom of the trick or treat bag, when we get home.

A little boy happy to be out in the evening, trick or treating, under the deciduous autumnal foliage, so colorful. Ah, but hovering up in the cold skies, what are these? Bats? Ooh, look out, we might have to run!
