I love this play with positive and negative design and the colors that you selected are beautiful. I really like your work Aubrey.

I love your sea turtle habitat. The colors are so bright and vibrant - it looks like a real coral reef. I hope you might bring it to the Beachhouse this June.

Wow! The patterns inside your bunny rabbit are amazing. Did you have a real rabbit in your classroom (?) or did you work from a photograph of a rabbit? I love the yellow contrasting withe the black. Excellent work.

I love your self-portrait. Your blue eyes are very expressive and give you a mysterious look. I am interested to know how you chose the pattern that you used to cover the background and your clothes. Keep up the good work!

I love your metalwork - and the way that you hand-painted it. Your sea turtle is quite beautiful and the water bubbles make it feel like it’s coming up for air from deep in the ocean. Great border too! Maybe we can bring it to the beach and hang it up.

This clay sculpture is so organic and natural. The butterfly texture stands out against the blue spheres (sky?) and the grass and it’s quite lovely.

From a distance the textures on your piece remind me of animal skins or reptiles. When I look closer, I think I see stars too. Very interesting work of art.

The monochromatic composition is quite interesting and a bit eerie, too. I want to find out more about where that scene is taking place and what is happening there.

The neutral gray tones make a great backdrop for your colorful patterns. I might like to see a small background pattern (tiny stars, perhaps) surrounding the 3-D form. Great job!

I love your beautiful horse painting! The way that the geometric shapes are smaller around his head and get larger as your eyes move down his body really make him look strong and expressive.

Pop pop and I love your monochromatic painting. How did you select purple as your color? And from where did you get your inspiration?
